We have developed a standardized CNC manufactured die set that is so good we are prepared to sell you just the punches, dieplate and fittings that make your part.
Fine blanking traditionally gives very accurate parts with 100% smooth edges and great flatness. Holes don’t need to be resized, secondary machining is often not needed. Parts can be made from heavy gauge steel. .
This D C Ross innovation keeps these benefits of normal fine blanking production tooling and radically improves delivery, purchase and set up cost.
We have streamlined our design and toolmaking processes to get to tool tryout in as little as 3 weeks! (Dependant on component complexity). Tool changeover to another part in as little as 20 minutes!
The package cost can be as low as 50% of normal fine blank tooling!

The ruler is shown as a rough guide to scale. As a guide our tool will handle parts that fit into a 125mm / 5” diameter circle
The parts are relatively straight forward with thicknesses up to 6mm.
Various metals can be processed, notably steel, Copper, Aluminium, stainless steel, and Titanium.
Additional features such as chamfers and threads may be added by machining
